The birds paradise
The masterpiece presented is an imaginary birds cage.
It is conceived as a living illumination evoking naturalistic scenes with birds set with gold and a lot of foliage and flowers. This creation is composed of an illuminated prism of five panels covered with fine parchment made from goat skin.
This illuminated prism rests on a dark blue base and covered with a crystal bell. This creation is set on a turntable.
This masterpiece is moving in motion, the rotation of the prism and the bell allows spectators to discover successively the different scenes that come alive with the lights created by the gold, the shimmer of colors and the crystal.
